WORK
WITH ME
Maybe you’re the art director who can brief It’s Nice That worthy brilliance but hasn’t touched your own curiosity—or one of those 50 blank sketchbooks—in months. The designer whose favorite ideas get sanded down in a 47-comment Figma thread. The creative lead who finally got the title, the comp, the team, the dream SSENSE haul… and is quietly wondering why it still feels like you’re living someone else’s life.
You’re not tired because you’re “burnt out.” You’re tired because you’ve been shape-shifting for years... calibrating to clients, pleasing stakeholders, editing yourself to fit the brand-deck version of you.
Nothing is wrong with you. You’re not ungrateful. You’re not losing your edge. You’re just outgrowing the LinkedIn template of a story you built your career on.
Here’s the real truth: the creative pivot isn’t a meltdown or a midlife crisis. (But if the drama ignites the main character energy you need to finally do something? Go off.) It's the moment the Girlboss mask stops fitting. It's the quiet, holy discomfort of realizing the work you do and the person you are have stopped matching—and something in you refuses to keep performing.
That isn’t failure.
That’s the beginning.
A portal (fr!), not a problem.
This is the work we do together.
Not fixing you. Not optimizing you into a slightly better-performing version of the same character. But designing a life where the person you are at work and the person you are at home—in your actual apartment, not your Zoom background—finally get to be the same species.
THE COACHING PROCESS
Coaching is kinda magical. And deeply creative!
It meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to go—even if “where you want to go” is currently just “literally anywhere but here.” The benefits unfold in layers, often starting with clarity and deepening into something much bigger: actually recognizing yourself in your own life again.
Each session is a confidential, judgment-free container where you can say the thing you’ve been afraid to admit out loud—the thing that sounds ungrateful or dramatic or like it doesn’t make sense given how good it looks on paper—and be met with curiosity, not advice you didn’t ask for.
WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER
① Set the Focus
What do you actually want to walk away with? Not what sounds good in theory—what do you need right now? We’ll name it. You’ll set a big goal for our work together, and smaller, non-terrifying experiments at each session along the way.
② Explore Deeply
We untangle your thoughts, name what’s true underneath the performance, and identify what’s actually in the way (spoiler: it’s usually not what you think). Exploration can happen through conversation, or visually in a FigJam if you’re the kind of person who thinks better with boxes and arrows. No limits.
③ Shift the Lens
I offer reflections, intuitive questions, and gently challenge the assumptions you’ve been operating on since 2019. Sometimes I’ll pull out Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies deck and we’ll play with divination-style spreads that somehow always land exactly right. (If that’s not your thing, we won’t. But it’s weirdly effective.)
④ Make it Real
We define clear, values-aligned action steps—no fluff, no “just manifest it and the universe will provide” energy. Actual experiments you can run in your actual life. And I’ll hold you accountable in the kind way, not the “did you do your homework?” way.
Between Sessions:
You’ll implement, reflect, and keep the momentum going. I’m available for quick check-ins, gentle nudges, and the occasional “is this normal or am I spiraling?” text when you need it.
“Erica is really great at reading between the lines and distilling what they hear into clear, to-the-point concepts. Since we started working together I feel a lot more confident in both my abilities and my future. Working with Erica feels both nurturing and energizing—their support makes it easier to take risks and shamelessly self-promote.”

WHO THIS IS FOR
I coach creative professionals who are in transition—burned out, lit up, or somewhere in the dissociative middle where you’re refreshing job boards but not actually reading anything.
Maybe you’ve considered an MFA you don’t actually want. Maybe you’re Googling “creative retreat New Mexico” at 2 a.m. Maybe you’re using PTO not for vacation but for lying very still and remembering what it feels like to want something.
I work with creative leaders, visionaries, and multi-hyphenates who are building something of their own or shaping culture within companies, brands, and agencies like:
These are the kinds of people I love to work with:
- Deep feelers with sharp minds who’ve been told to “just be more strategic” so many times they’ve started to believe feeling things is a liability
- Passionate but stuck—like you’re revving the engine in neutral
- Craving change but allergic to the kind of advice that starts with “just” (just quit, just start, just follow your passion)
- Burned out not from doing too much, but from doing work that doesn’t matter to you while pretending it does
- Haunted by “shoulds” and ruled by inner critics who sound suspiciously like every creative director you’ve ever had
- Longing for more meaning, clarity, and the radical luxury of space to breathe without it being a “self-care Sunday”
They come to coaching for:
- Reconnecting with their creative spark—the one that existed before it became a line item in a scope of work
- Navigating transitions that don’t fit neatly into a LinkedIn announcement (career, identity, leadership, what it means to be alive)
- Making bold decisions from a grounded, values-aligned place—not a panic spiral or a vision board
- Redefining success on terms that don’t require performing someone else’s version of “made it”
- Getting unstuck and moving forward—not in the hustle-culture way, but in the I-actually-want-to-be-alive-for-this way
“I’d never tried coaching before and honestly it didn’t even occur to me since I have a therapist. I signed up for a digital retreat, tried a free session, and was blown away! Erica is someone who really gets artists and creatives, who can help you explore how to support or push yourself.”

QUARTERLY COACHING
Eight 60-minute sessions over three months
We start weekly while you're finding your footing, then shift to bi-weekly as momentum builds and you start trusting yourself again.
What's included:
- Eight 60-minute Zoom sessions (the kind where you can say the quiet part out loud)
- Email and voice-note support between sessions—for the “is this normal?” moments and mid-week breakthroughs
- Personalized exercises and frameworks tailored to where you actually are, not where you think you should be
- Accountability check-ins that feel like support, not surveillance
- A confidential, judgment-free container where transformation isn’t a buzzword—it’s what happens when you stop performing
Extended commitments (3, 6, 9, or 12 months) available if you’re in it for the identity-level shift, not the quick fix that looks good in a “more/less” New Year post.
3-month investment—
Community: $1,800
Standard: $2,800
Supporter: $3,800
O.S. HYBRID SESSION
A one-time 60-minute hybrid session—part divination, part coaching.
For anyone stuck between “I need a coach” and “I need a psychic”—this is the overlap on that Venn diagram.
We'll use Brian Eno's Oblique Strategies deck like a divination tool—pulling cards, letting chance guide us—but instead of just "interpreting" them, we'll use coaching inquiry to help you explore what's actually underneath the block. Your intuition does the talking. The cards create the opening. I ask the questions that help it all land.
This session is for you if:
- You’re facing a decision and can't see the path forward
- You want to explore a creative block or transition with a different lens
- You’re curious about mixing intuition with strategic thinking
- You want a taste of coaching without a full commitment
- You just need someone to help you think out loud (but make it creative, playful, intuitive)
What's included:
- One 60-minute Zoom session
- A personalized Oblique Strategies card spread (we’ll design it together based on your question)
- Reflective coaching questions to help you synthesize insights
- A follow-up email summarizing your spread and next steps
Investment: $222
COACHING MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF...
You're the person everyone thinks is doing great. And in the metrics that matter to capitalism—title, salary, output—you are. But there’s this other thing. This quiet knowing that you’ve optimized yourself into a corner. That the life you designed five years ago is now a cage you maintain with impeccable project management skills.
You’re not having a breakdown. You’re having a breakthrough that’s been delayed by competence.
You want someone who understands that “just quit and follow your passion” is advice written by people who’ve never had student loans or a parent who still brings up that one ‘stable’ career path you didn’t take. Someone who knows the creative industry isn’t just demanding—it’s designed to metabolize your aliveness and rebrand it as “engagement.”
You want to figure out what comes next without torching your entire life. To test new identities before you commit to them. To remember what it feels like to want something for reasons that have nothing to do with how it’ll read in a carefully worded “I’m pleased to announce”...
If that’s you—if you’re tired of performing certainty when what you actually feel is the painful, gorgeous uncertainty of outgrowing a story that no longer fits—then we should talk.
FAQ
Is this career coaching?
Not exactly. We're not just optimizing your resume or prepping you for interviews (though we can do that if needed). We're working on something deeper: identity, meaning, creative aliveness. The career stuff flows from that foundation. Think of it as creative direction for your life, not a LinkedIn makeover.
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy helps you understand your past. Coaching helps you design your future. If you're in crisis or dealing with unprocessed trauma, therapy is the move. But if you're functional, self-aware, and ready to build what's next—this is the space for that. (And yes, you can do both. They complement each other beautifully. I'm very pro-therapy.)
Do I need to know what I want before we start?
Nope. Clarity isn't the price of entry—it's what we build together. You just need to know something has to change. The “what” and “how”? We'll figure those out as we go.
What if I can't afford the Standard Tier?
Choose the Access Tier—no questions asked, no proof of income required, no guilt. It’s there for exactly this reason. If even that feels out of reach right now, let’s talk. I’d rather work something out than have cost be the reason you don’t start.
How long does this take?
The quarterly package (3 months) creates real momentum—enough to feel different, see patterns, start moving. But identity-level transformation? That’s usually 6–12 months. This isn't a quick fix or a 30-day challenge. It’s a practice. We’ll assess together what timeline feels right for where you are.
What if I try this and nothing changes?
Then we’ll figure out why. Maybe the timing isn’t right. Maybe you’re not ready to take action yet (knowing and doing are different animals). Maybe the problem is different than we thought. This work requires your participation—I can’t do your becoming for you, as much as I’d love to. But if you show up, I will too.
What's the deal with the Oblique Strategies session?
It's a one-off hybrid session for anyone hovering between “I need a coach” and “I need a psychic.” We'll use Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies deck like a divination tool, tap into your intuition, and use coaching inquiry to turn cryptic prompts into actual clarity. If you’re curious about working together but not ready for a multi-month commitment—or if you just want a creative intervention for a specific stuck point—this is your entry point. It’s weird, it’s fun, and it’s surprisingly effective.
Do you work with people outside the US?
Yes! All sessions are virtual via Zoom, so as long as we can find a time that works across time zones (and you don’t mind me occasionally looking slightly hot mess express at 6 a.m.), we’re good.
What if I'm not “creative enough”?
If you’re asking that question, you’re exactly who this is for. Creativity isn’t about being an artist or having a ticket to Config. It’s about how you think, solve problems, see the world, and engage with what matters to you. It’s about curiosity. And you clearly have that, or you wouldn’t still be reading this.
Your title might not have “art” or “creative” in it—producers, account directors, strategists, I’m looking at you—and you’re still exactly who I want to work with if you’ve made it this far.
Can I switch pricing tiers later?
Absolutely. If your financial situation changes during our work together—either direction—we can adjust. This is meant to be flexible and human, not a binding contract you signed in blood.
Can my employer pay for coaching?
Maybe! Many companies offer L&D (Learning & Development) budgets that cover coaching, especially when framed as professional development or leadership growth. Check with your HR about available funds—I’m happy to provide any documentation needed for reimbursement.
How do I book?
Start with a free intro session. It’s a full 60-minute coaching session—on the house, no strings. It’s the best way to experience how I work, get a feel for the vibe, and see if we’re a good fit. No pitch, no pressure, just the actual work.
